Matt has nearly a decade of experience in the mortgage industry and is excited to be a part of Shelter’s Perimeter Team. His career began at American Equity Mortgage where he was awarded “Rookie of the Year” in 2012. Matt previously worked at Southpoint Financial Services where he won awards for “Top Producer” and “Outstanding Producer” multiple times for overall units and volume closed.
Matt is a Georgia native and grew up in Metro Atlanta. He graduated from Georgia College and State University with a bachelor’s degree in marketing.
Matt and his wife, Rachel, currently live in Alpharetta. They had their first born daughter, Reagan, in June 2020. In his spare time, Matt’s enjoys golf, playing in an adult basketball league, traveling, and spending time with his family and friends. His favorite places to travel are Scottsdale, New York, and Santa Barbara.
